On November 7th, 2024, a federal court declared President Biden’s parole in place program for spouses of US citizens illegal. Today, November 13th, USCIS released an alert indicating that effective immediately:
- All pending parole in place applications will NOT be adjudicated.
- Any new parole in place applications will NOT be accepted.
If you have a BIOMETRICS appointment, it is cancelled. There is no need to appear at your appointment.
It should be noted that the Biden administration does reserve the right to appeal the court’s decision until January.
